ETF led approach to portfolio construction achieving core global allocations to equity, bond and commodity markets in a risk controlled process. Ability to calibrate allocations based on investor risk tolerance: from 100% fixed income (~4% annualized volatility) to 100% Equity (~15% annualized volatility).
Active allocation process, keeping core exposure to global markets, while tilting exposures based on macro trends that are expected to outperform over the medium term. This core portfolio is built on time in the market and not increasing volatility by betting the farm or short term trading/excessive turnover.
The use of ETFs, through an ongoing rigorous due diligence process, allows:
- Underlying costs to remain low, averaging 0.26 – 0.27% per portfolio
- Diversification with focus on maintaining liquid, transparent and efficient ETF solutions
- Ability to achieve factor, country and thematic tilts within the portfolio
The moderate portfolio allocates evenly between fixed income and equity to balance risk and growth.
